The sport of Jetskifishing is growing massively throughout the world and east Auckland is witnessing its strongest growth internationally with the Sea-Doo Global Brand Ambassador (Andrew Hill) being based in Auckland and event organiser of New Zealand’s biggest jet-ski only fishing competition.

This year’s event had 120 anglers registered, all leaving from  Eastern Beach bright and early to head out fishing in search of their fish for weigh-in. The event encourages responsible riding and is a family-friendly day with plenty of riders taking their children or partners.

With a $16,000 Prize pool, the event was an enjoyable day for all, said Hill.
